Sunday, June 2, 2013 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Rain or Shine
The scent of early summer beckons members and guests to join us for
the Horticultural Society of Maryland ‘s 22nd Annual Garden Tour.
Set in two of Baltimore City’s most picturesque neighborhoods,
this walking tour visits nine uniquely designed gardens that range from
the whimsical and artistic to the tranquility of an Asian-inspired refuge
to the classical formality of two historic estate homes.
In addition to a profusion of blooming plants and flowers that inspired
the ‘Scents in the City’ title of this year’s tour,
many of the gardens incorporate beautiful stonework walks and patios,
burbling fountains, ponds and pools as well as
garden walls and gates that draw visitors in to discover surprises around every corner.
