March Into Spring XVI
What: A Symposium for Gardeners

 

Theme: "Hot Garden Trends.”

Event includes outstanding speakers, silent auction, book sale, and vendors.

When: Saturday, March 17, 8:15 am to 3:00 pm

Where: Academic Building, Large Auditorium, Delaware County Community College, 901 South Media Line Road, Media PA 19063

Fees: $75 for members of The Hardy Plant Society/Mid-Atlantic Group; $85 for non-members. Fees increase $10 after March 4. Includes morning coffee service and box lunch.

Lloyd & Candy Traven, owners of Peace Tree Farm, are committed to the use of advanced technology combined with sustainable organic growing techniques in plant breeding and propagation.

Rita Randolph is co-owner of Randolph’s Greenhouses and a nationally known speaker with cool humor. She writes for an assortment of magazines and has her own cable TV show – Green Thumb Gardening.

 

“Hardy Succulents”

Ellen Zachos, owner of Acme Plant Stuff, a garden design, installation, and maintenance company in NYC, is an instructor at the New York Botanical Garden.

 

“Exotic Plants for Temperate Climates”

Will Giles has been pushing the boundaries of what can be grown in an English garden for the last 30 years in his 1-acre plot in Norfolk and is well known in the UK for growing plants outdoors that are more commonly associated with the tropics.
